WATCH: Terrified family wake to find hundreds of snakes in home

India - A man and his family have been left on a state of terror after waking up during the dead of night to find hundreds of snakes slithering around their home, Naij reports.

Jitendra Mishra and his family have virtually been forced out of their house in the Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, India after the discovery of over 150 snakes slithering all over the residence.

After spending the night at a neighbor's house, Mishra raised the alarm on the strange matter, calling in an expert to remove the snakes and release them in a nearby forest.

"It is not yet known on how snakes entered the house but it seems that any snake may had laid eggs under the wall few years back," an eyewitness said.
