04 July 2016, 15:10

Nairobi - Police are on the hunt for a man who was caught on CCTV throwing rotten pork at a mosque, the UK Metro reports.

The suspect, believed to be in his late 30s, was caught perpetrating the hateful act in Finsbury Park in the United Kingdom.

Having been called to the place of worship in the early hours of May 26, police officials did not see the man commit the crime as he had waited until everyone had left the premises.

Wearing a woollen hat, a coat and light coloured trousers, the man is believed to be Caucasian with a medium build.

It is believed that the suspect with be charged in line with committing a hate crime once he is nabbed by officials.
