The couple went to their jobs as per usual on Friday morning, with Motshedisi never returning.

As Motshedisi does not have a cellphone, both Fikile and her family have not been able to contact her for two weeks.

“She lived with Fikile for so long without our blessings. We want our girl back. This man must bring her home. We won’t entertain his stories,” said Teboho, Motshedisi's uncle.

A missing person's case has since been opened with the local police.
