Syrian embassy in Berlin hit by big protest

Berlin - The Syrian embassy in Berlin was attacked by a group of about 30 Syrian nationals, who broke through a gate in the fence and then penetrated the building, where they found the ambassador, Daily Nation reports.
According to the police, no one was injured, and the ambassador who also resides there was able to call for help and asked the police to take measures on Syrian territory, referring to the grounds of the embassy.
There have been similar protests in other European capitals, after a mass rally had been held in Syria on Saturday against the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
