London - A dead lion was found stuffed next to food to be served to customers in a resturant in the UK, reports MirrorUK
The animals body was discovered during an inspection by environmental health officers.
The out of place corpse did not go do well with the health officers in the food establishment which is next to a zoo.
The restaurant's owner said that the dead lion was to feed his pack of dogs, and was not going to be served to customers.
If food safety practices are insufficient the Environmental health officers have the powers to close down restaurants, but the restaurant escaped the health officers hammer.

The dead lion was the only health code violation, so the restaurant was not closed.
