Man hospitalised after wife burnt him

Kirinyaga – A 28-year old man, Steven Murimi after a domestic dispute is nursing wounds at Kimbimbi sub-county Hospital after his wife burnt him with a kerosene stove, reports Citizen TV.

Murimi had returned home after a raunchy weekend with his side chick which angered his wife.
Dr. Joseph Muriithi at the hospital confirmed that Murimi sustained 25% of burns to his body and was no longer in danger.
The police have since launched an investigation into his wife’s whereabouts.
Nyangati ward Chief Immaculate Wanjiru has warned residents against violence during domestic disputes.
Meanwhile in a similar incident a woman in Murang’a County locked up her husband and two children as they slept and set them ablaze following a domestic feud.
The husband, Samuel Kimani died in the 3am incident.
Neighbours who responded to distress calls by the victims managed to break the door and rescue the children who were in the sitting room.
The woman, Mary Kabura who managed to escape was found three hours later for attempting suicide.
