'Why I joined Gor Mahia'

Nairobi - New Gor Mahia signing Thiago de Lima Silva has targeted silverware in
his first season with the defending Kenyan Premier League champions.
The Brazilian joined K'Ogalo last week as a replacement for Rwanda
international Maddie Kagere, who failed to agree new terms Nairobi
"I want to win many championships with Gor Mahia. For me it will be
very good that I play football with mentality of winning titles," Silva
"I want to win more with Gor Mahia, it's a big club with a large fan
base and I look forward to that. I am here to work hard in training, to
impress the technical bench for a starting berth.
"I know they have good players, good strikers but I know I will get
time to play. I have watched the club on YouTube, I saw it's the biggest
club around with good players hence couldn't turn down the offer."
Silva could make his debut against Tusker FC in the semi-final, first
leg of their KPL Top 8 clash at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday.
