Wanyama to arrive in Bissau Wednesday

22 March 2016, 22:56

Nairobi - Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama will arrive in the Guinea Bissau Wednesday just a few hours to an AFCON qualifier versus the hosts.

Skipper Wanyama who was scheduled to arrive in Bissau Tuesday morning was forced to endure an unforeseen delay that occasioned his missing the Bissau-bound flight from Morocco .

The skipper who had flew to Morocco, where he was to connect to Bissau, is however expected to join the team on Wednesday morning from Dakar Senegal barely few hour before the 7 PM local time kick off.

The delay was occasioned by a French pilots and airport workers strike.

The Stars take on the hosts in a do or die clash which they need to win to have hopes of qualifying for AFCON 2017.
