Ushuru sign Sanneh

01 February 2016, 13:03

Nairobi - Ushuru FC have secured the services of Gambia international striker Ebrima Sanneh ahead of the 2016 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season.

The Gambian hitman was reported to be headed to recently promoted KPL team Posta Rangers FC, but the club failed to agree terms with Real de Banjul of Gambia.

According to Nna Gambian News, Banjul had high demands and after failing to agree, Sanneh was seen training with Ushuru FC with the coach Ken Kenyatta confirming afterwards that he had signed a two-year deal with the club.

"Sanneh is our player now and he has signed a two year contract. Not everything is done yet; we are still completing the paperwork to wrap up the deal but I can confirm he will be here for the coming season," he said.

"I went in for him because he is an exceptional player and with good skills and I believe, at Ushuru for the season, I will make him a better player than he was at City Stars last year," Kenyatta added.

Ebrima Sanneh scored 11 goals last season and was instrumental in helping City Stars survive relegation.
