Nairobi - Thika United striker Ray Omondi has quit football to concentrate on his studies.
The forward, who has been largely used from the bench this season for Thika, says that he is going back to the United Kingdom to continue with his studies.
" I’m taking a break in football to continue with my studies in England. It is a very tough decision one that I’ve put my whole life into and hoped to be successful," he told Futaa.com.
Omondi formerly played for Kibera Celtic.
Thika have struggled for form this season, and are currently placed 13th in the Kenyan Premier League standings.
