Pressure on as Gor Mahia close in on stumbling Tusker

Nairobi - The Pressure atop the Kenyan Premier League is at its highest as Gor Mahia and Tusker FC battle for title supremacy.
The gap is now down to two points thanks to Gor's 1-0 success over Ulinzi Stars in Nairobi on Wednesday which means that Tusker have 45 points to Gor's 43 with 6 games left to play.
The interesting bit is that the two sides have to face each other, a fact Gor forward George Blackberry Odhiambo says has given Gor the chance to win a fourth league title in a row.
" The reality is that if we win all our games we will be champions. We needed to win 8 out of 8 and thus far we have won two, so six to go," he said after the win over Ulinzi at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Blackberry'winning goal was reward for a Gor performance which was superb from start to finish, despite being under pressure to win the game and the former Danish based forward says that he is happy to help his side surge ahead.
" Our destiny is in our own hands. That is what we have to focus on," he insists.
Gor won the title unbeaten last season but with the current one far from straightforward, they will be happy just to pick up the title at the end of the season.
