Osumba missed by Tusker

Nairobi - Tusker FC coach Paul Nkata has bemoaned the continued absence of Brian
Osumba after the midfielder suffered a broken leg earlier in the year.
Osumba had been expected to return to full fitness in the second half of the season but he is yet to make a return.
With seven games left in the season, Tusker are leading the title race with 44 points from 23 games.
"Osumba is still out and he will not be returning any time this
season, which is a blow to us because I know with a player like him we
would be in a stronger position to compete for the title," Nkata told Soka.
"He is recovering well and the progress is as expected but to say he
will be back this year will be a bit too ambitious. We do not want to
rush him back only to aggravate his injury; from the assessments he has
had, he may be back in March next year at the earliest."
In the absence of the 2013 Midfielder of the Year, teammates Cersidy
Lumumba, Humphrey Mieno, Jackson Macharia, Anthony Ndolo and Hashim
Sempala have stepped up to the plate for the team.
