22 September 2016, 15:26

Nairobi - Sony Sugar midfielder Fredrick Uche Onyango feels he has grown as a footballer during his second spell at the club.

Onyango joined Sony Sugar at the start of the season from Tusker FC.

The midfielder also hailed his call-up to the national team after a stellar showing with the Millers this season.

"Second stint at Sony Sugar is getting down well; it is all about working hard and giving my best and also I am settled well here because this is like my home," Onyango told Soka.

"I was welcomed well and that has enabled me make big steps in my career. By God's grace I have also been called up to the national team and you see these are the rewards we get for having good dedication, supportive teammates and working hard on the pitch.

"It was a sweet surprise for me and even there I just promise to work hard and apply myself to the fullest."
