Omino narrows down targets

Nairobi - Western Stima head coach Henry Omino reveals the club has already initiated negotiations with a number of potential signings.
Last week, Omino outlined his plans to take Western Stima into the
top eight next season and underlined the need to bring in fresh talent
to achieve that aim.
It appears, both he and the club share the same ambition as he has
now revealed that certain players have been identified and talks opened
in order to bring them to KPLC.
"We have initiated talks with a number of players though I would not want to name names at this point," Omino told Soka. "But the biggest aim really is to make the side stronger and push for better performance next season.
"It was a pity we could not make our top eight target in the just
concluded season but come 2016, it is a target we must get to."
He also took time out to praise the club's management for supporting his plans to strengthen the squad ahead of next season.
"I think they have played a very big role so far. They have been very
supportive to us and I want to commend them. With their support better,
as a team, we don't have a reason not to perform well next season," he
