Nizigiyimana eyes KPL title push

Nairobi - Gor Mahia defender Karim Nizigiyimana believes his team can make a final push for the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) championship.
The title holders are second in the table with 37 points from 22 games in the league.
Gor Mahia have a game in hand and are seven points behind leaders
Tusker, with 44 points from 23 games. Gor Mahia will next face Chemelil
Sugar at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday.
"It is still early to give up on the title because anything can happen in football," Nizigiyimana told Soka.
"We are yet to play against Tusker so we still have a realistic
chance of reducing the deficit and defending our title. We have had a
break which has come at the right time for us to go back to the drawing
"The most important thing is that we have to start winning matches
moving forward because every point counts from this stage. As players we
are not happy with the results but I want to urge the fans to continue
rallying behind the team because Gor Mahia will rise again."
