New date set for FKF polls

09 November 2015, 10:20

Nairobi - The forthcoming Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections have for the third time been moved to new dates and will now be held on 30th November, 7 and 14th December for sub branch, branch and national elections correspondingly.

With the Pope set to tour Kenya as from Wednesday 25th November for a visit that will last four days, the FKF Electoral Board has moved the exercise to avoid mishaps that would be occasioned by the visit.

The elections, to be held in three tiers were initially set for Thursday 29th October for the Sub Branch polls, Thursday 5 November for the Branch polls and Friday 13 November for the national elections but a decision by the FKF Electoral Board, based on tight timelines pushed the polls.
