Muhoroni Youth back training after player strike

08 September 2016, 16:14

Nairobi - The players allegedly approached management to request their outstanding salaries and were subsequently embroiled in a scuffle with security at the club's office.

"Everybody is back after the short misunderstanding that almost sent our season in disarray. The chairman has talked to everyone and we are all gearing for our next opponents," Nyangechi told Soka.

Coach Bobby Ogolla, meanwhile, was pleased that management and players were able to sort out their differences.

"I am glad the management and the players came out with a solution to sort out the issue of the players strike. We are at a crucial stage of the season and it was noble that we work as a unit to get the required results," Ogolla said.

Muhoroni Youth will next face Kakamega Homeboyz at the Muhoroni Stadium on Saturday.
