Nairobi - Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia have agreed a two-year contract extension with club vice-captain Musa Mohammed.
His manager, Charles Omondi Korea, confirmed that negotiations with the 15-time league champions had been successful.
"He signed a new contract yesterday before jetting out to Sudan with
the club and he's very happy to commit to a club he joined as a rookie,"
Korea told Soka.
"To be honest he was really unsettled with no word coming from the
club after his contract lapsed but all that is now settled albeit a bit
After a solid season in the heart of defence last season, Mohammed is looking forward to more silverware in 2016.
"For 2016 we pray that we have a good start like it was last season;
we want to have another good season and even go on to better the
performance in the past seasons," Mohammed said.
