Leopards swoop for Ramadhan

02 February 2016, 12:07

Nairobi - AFC Leopards have signed defender Yakubu Ramadhan in a blockbuster which will make the Ugandan one of the highest paid players in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).

His agent, Isaac Mikasa, confirmed the mega-money move to Soka25, which saw Ramadhan join Leopards on a two-year deal from SC Victoria University.

Leopards have reportedly paid US$ 10,000 (KES 1 million) for Ramadhan’s services, the second highest fee behind what Gor Mahia paid for Jacques Tuyisenge.

Ramadhan will reportedly be paid a salary of US$ 2000 (KES 200,000) per month by the Kenyan giants.
