Leopards move for Mali's Sissoko on the verge of collapse

20 July 2016, 16:01

Nairobi - AFC Leopards coach Ivan Minnaert has revealed that the transfer of winger Moussa Sissoko from Malian side Djoliba AC hangs by a thread.

Ingwe wanted the Mali international on loan until the end of the season, but the deal is in danger of collapsing after the proper transfer documents were not processed in time.

"His license is not okay. Everything was done on time for his transfer, his club, Djoliba AC did everything needed on time but the Mali federation (MFF) did not validate the transfer on time, we don't know why," Minnaert told Soka.

"We have to wait for one or two days and see what happens but on this, MFF should have taken their responsibility which they did not."
