HT: Harambee Stars lead Cape Verde in World Cup qualifier

13 November 2015, 16:58

Nairobi - Kenya's Harambee Stars leads Cape Verde 1-0 at Half time in World Cup qualifier at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The Stars took the lead on 9 minutes after Gor Mahia striker Michael Olunga headed in a Clifton Miheso cross for the lead.

They then had a few more chances to add to the lead but Olunga and Johanna Omolo fluffed their lines.

Kenya will be hoping to continue in the same way and book a first leg lead ahead of the return leg in Cape Verde on Tuesday.
