Chairman hails Ulinzi achievements

Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars chairman Lt. Col JS Mwinyikai has heaped praise on Robert
Matano, David Mwangi, Geoffrey Kokoyo and John Makwata following the
quartet's various nominations at the 2015 Footballer of the Year awards.
Matano finished as runner-up to Gor Mahia's Frank Nuttall in the
Coach of the Year category, while Mwangi came in second for Manager of
From the playing squad, Makwata earned silver in the Golden Boot
race, while deputy captain Kokoyo was named the third best defender
during the 2015 campaign.
Speaking to the club's website, Mwinyikai said: "I congratulate all
four of them, the coach and the team manager for their recognition. It
has been through hard work and next year, I want to see them winning and
more of their team mates being nominated."
