Batambuze signs with Tusker

Nairobi - Uganda international Shafik Batambuze has spoken of his delight after securing a move to 10-time Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker FC.

The left-back has joined the Brewers from Western Stima on a two-year deal, having impressed during his three campaigns in Kenyan's top-flight division.

"I am thrilled to return to Nairobi. I haven't had a very good season this year, but I have a strong feeling that 2016 will be my year," he told the KPL's official website.

Batambuze went on to add he is fully aware of the expectations that will come playing for the Nairobi giants, adding: "I have been made aware that we need to win the KPL trophy next season, and so it is clear that I will have to work very hard."
