Bandari's Odhiambo looks for positives

12 July 2016, 14:35

Nairobi - Bandari FC caretaker coach Ken Odhiambo focused on the positives after his team's performance in the 1-1 draw against Ushuru FC on Saturday.

The Dockers came from behind to snatch a point at the Mbaraki Sports Club in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).

David Kingatua grabbed the equaliser for Bandari after Ivorian forward Lamine Diallo handed Ushuru the lead.

Odhiambo has not tasted defeat with two wins and three draws since taking over from Twahir Muhidin.

"We came from behind and managed to get a point and for me that shows that the players still have some hunger for victory," Odhiambo told Soka.

"That shows character. I would have wanted us to win the game, but I don't want to complain much as we rescued a point at least."

The Dockers are 12th on the table with 20 points from 17 matches.
