London - English Premier League club Arsenal have tied down Alex Iwobi after the winger signed a new five year deal that will see him remain at the club till 2021.

The new deal for the 19-year-old is said to be about £30 000-a-week, according to The Independent.

Iwobi previously signed renewed terms of approximately £10 000-a-week last October, in a deal that was believed to tie him down to the club until 2019.

Iwobi has started each of the club’s last five games and scored his first Arsenal goal during a man-of-the-match performance in the recent 2-0 victory at Everton.

The Nigeria international, who made his debut for the Super Eagles against Egypt last month, scored again in the 4-0 league win over Watford last weekend.
