Zambia expected Monday as CECAFA kick-off draws closer

Nairobi - The Zambian national team christened 'Chipolopolo' are expected in Kenya Monday as the kick-off for the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup draws closer.
With other sides like Somalia, Rwanda, Sudan, Uganda, Eritrea, Burundi, South Sudan already in the country the Zambians, AFCON winners in 2012 will add spice to an already highly anticpiated kick-off for the tournament which is set for Wednesday.
According to CECAFA Secretary General Nicholas Musonye, all is set for the big kick-off.
" Most countries have arrived and we are now waiting for one or two sides before we kick off the tournament on Wednesday. I'm happy with the progress so far, he said.
Ethiopia will arrive in the country Tuesday.
All the appointed referees and other CECAFA executive committee members have also started arriving for the tournament.
