Nairobi - Nick Yakhama has set some lofty targets for Top Fry All Stars as they
look to turn around their ailing Kenyan Premier League campaign.
The Nakuru- based outfit currently find themselves second from bottom
in the standings after managing just one win from their opening 14
league matches in 2014.
Things get no easier for Top Fry either as they next face Kenyan
giants and KPL title hopefuls Tusker FC on Wednesday, although Yakhama
is confident he can mastermind a return to form in the second-half of
"Everything is fine here and I have so far had some good cooperation from the players," the coach said.
"We can only hope for a great season, different from the previous
ones. I want to assure club's fans that all is not lost. Nobody should
rule us out. We maybe be (near the) bottom but I expect to change the
team’s fortunes in the second leg (of the season)."
He continued: "A lot is going to change. I want to impact a lot of improvement.
"It’s my greatest desire to see (us) win virtually all our home
matches in the second leg. The team is young and energetic and our basic
target is to improve our performance and avoid relegation.
"We are going to recruit and then try to get results going our way."
