Williamson will miss Gor Mahia

22 August 2014, 10:33

Nairobi - Bobby Williamson will miss Gor Mahia but says he had no second thoughts about taking the Harambee Stars job.

The Gor coach will be in-charge of the club for the last time Sunday when they take on SoNy Sugar in KPL action.

The Scot, former coach of the Uganda Cranes, says that he had no second thoughts when he was called in to take over the national team.

" I will miss Gor Mahia. We had a great time there and a lot happened that was good too, so I will cherish those moments.

" On the other hand, I had no second thoughts about the Harambee Stars job. It is an honour to represent Kenya at that level and I hope to do well, he added.

Williamson won the KPL title for the first time in nearly two decades last season.
