Nairobi - Reports in Tanzania indicate that Bobby Williamson will leave Gor Mahia for Tanzanian outfit Yanga.
The Scottish coach, who led Gor to their first Kenyan Premier League title in 18 years has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in the last few weeks.
Yanga are looking for a new coach after parting ways with Ernie Brandts in December.
Yanga have made no secret of the fact that they are interested in Williamson and according to Tanzanian sports publication Mwanaspoti, have been in talks with the former Uganda Cranes coach.
It is understood that they have agreed terms and will unveil Williamson in the coming days.
Gor, through Secretary General George Bwana say they have not heard of such a deal put in place but admits that if Williamson decides to leave, they will not stand in his way.
" There is no such agreement unless you speak to Williamson himself and he has something to say about it. We have spoken lately and he has not mentioned such a thing, Bwana said.
" On the other hand, it is a free world and as long as the right procedures are followed, there is no way we can stop him from leaving if he likes, he added.
Williamson could not be reached for comment but has previously stated his desire to see out his contract at Gor which has six months remaining.
