Who's saying what at the World Cup

13 June 2014, 15:57

Rio de Janeiro - Who's saying what at the World Cup on Friday:

"This is a dream come true, much more than I imagined."

- Brazil star Neymar after his two goals helped the hosts to a 3-1 win over Croatia.

"Two billion people saw that it was not a penalty. I didn't touch him."

- Croatia defender Dejan Lovren whose foul on Fred gave Neymar the chance to convert a controversial penalty.

"The only person who can take me out of the team is Big Phil (coach Luiz Felipe Scolari). What you (journalists) say doesn't matter much. What matters is the opinion of the coach."

- Brazil's Oscar who scored the third goal for his team.

"Oh dear, if Brazil win the World Cup the whole world will say Nishimura was the MVP (most valuable player)."

- tweet from a fan in Japan after Japanese referee Yuichi Nishimura awarded the controversial penalty to Brazil.
