Were still waiting on work permit

26 August 2014, 15:29

Nairobi - AmaZulu have confirmed Kenya international Paul Were is still ineligible to play as the midfielder continues to wait on his work permit.

The Harambee Stars playmaker was signed during the current transfer period from Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards, but is yet to make any official appearances for Usuthu as he waits on his paperwork to be approved.

However, there is some good news for Rosslee, who has Zambian Bornwell Mwape and Sadate Ouro-Akoriko of Togo available after the pair were both cleared for business this week.

"We have got a work permit of Akoriko and Bornwell Mwape. Paul Were - we are still busy with that one and (Nkosinathi) Mthiyane is out with a broken arm and he will be out for the coming weeks," Rosslee said

AmaZulu are also preparing for the imminent return of striker Ayanda Dlamini, with Rosslee adding: "Ayanda Dlamini is available and has got 90 minutes under his belt in one friendly we played, but we will see what happens."
