Were frustrated as AmaZulu debut is delayed

19 August 2014, 11:48

Nairobi - Harambee Stars winger Paul Were has expressed his disappointed that his debut for AmaZulu is on hold because of work permit issues.

The Harambee Stars winger was signed from AFC Leopards during the off-season, but has yet to play an official match for Usuthu because he has yet to be registered.

He has been forced to watch from sidelines as his side contested their first two league fixtures of the new campaign, much to his frustration.

"It is really frustrating because I really want to play for my new team but the work permit issues have dragged on," Were told SuperSport.

"I am happy with the training and I am just looking forward to playing in the league proper as it has been my dream."
