Nairobi - Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia have agreed a deal to sign winger Paul Were after an earlier breakdown in negotiations.
The attacker returned home from the South African top flight after
his club AmaZulu were relegated to the National First Division.
After a late round of negotiations, both parties agreed a six-month deal, instead of a two-year contract.
"I am excited we have agreed and we can now put the issue to rest. I
am looking foward to joining the rest of the players in training and
playing," Were told SuperSport.
"Gor Mahia is a big club with a great history and I take pride in joining the club."
Gor Mahia have also signed Enock Agwanda from Sofapaka and promoted
Amos Nondi, who has since been sent on a one-year loan to Sony Sugar.
