We will bounce back- Ouma

30 July 2013, 16:19

Nairobi - Sofapaka head coach David Ouma has backed his team to rise from the defeat to AFC Leopards, a 1-0 loss that dented the 2009 champions’ title ambitions.

The coach lauded his players’ resilience in the game saying they created good openings, but luck was just not on their side. He also castigated his defenders for allowing their opponents space to score an easy goal though he went on to promise a come-back in the next game.

“One thing I am sure of is that we will bounce back soon. We might be at a low after losing, but we should as well assess positives from the game. First of all, I was proud of the team’s output, the players showed a lot of desire to win the game and that should be noted. We, however, allowed them an easy goal and that is what we will be working to address.
