Wanyama happy with life in England

26 November 2013, 11:32

Nairobi - Victor Wanyama is happy with life in the English Premier League.

The Kenyan international joined EPL side Southampton in the summer and has cemented a regular place in the first team, impressing most times including in the loss to Arsenal over the weekend.

Southampton have started the season on a high note and Wanyama admits the good start has helped him settle.

" It is good here. I have enjoyed myself and I'm looking forward to the rest of my time at the club.

" The start to the season has been good and it has helped me settle because the team is performing well. Because of that, things are fine and with support from my teammates, I have done well.

" We have been unlucky in the games we have lost this season but have learnt lessons all the same. We will get better with time, he added.

Wanyama is now looking forward to the busy festive season.

" It is different to other leagues but in Scotland it was the same so I know how to deal with it.
