Nairobi - Victor Wanyama has described his debut in the Barclays Premier League for his new club Southampton as a great moment and honour as he became the first East African to play in England’s top flight last weekend.
Making his first start since his 12.5 million pound move, did not disappoint as he bossed the midfield playing a crucial role in the 1-0 win over West Brom at the Hawthorns.
"As a player my dream has always been to play in England and just before the game as usual you get the nervous moments but once the game was on it was time to do what I know best and that was giving the best for my team Southampton," Wanyama told supersport.com.
