Wanyama agrees to join Southampton

Nairobi - Daily Nation reports Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama on Wednesday agreed to join Southampton in the English Premier League (EPL) for a KES1.7 billion deal.
He bid farewell to his teammates at Celtic and left the club’s
pre-season camp in Germany, from where he was expected to fly to England to sign the deal.
Wanyama becomes the first player from East Africa to play in the EPL.
