Wamalwa eyes Gor scalp

Nairobi - Chemelil Sugar defender Titus Wamalwa is quietly confident this weekend
could spell the end of Gor Mahia's unbeaten run in the 2015 season.
The Kenyan Premier League champions look well on course to defending
their crown this year as they currently sit 12 points clear at the
summit after going undefeated in their opening 15 matches (W12, D3).
Sugar, meanwhile, find themselves in the bottom-half of the standings
and only three points clear of the relegation zone at the halfway stage
of the campaign, but Wamalwa believes form will go out the window when
the sides lock horns at the Afraha Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
"This is a good opportunity for us to show that we can play to our strengths and I believe we will do it," he told SuperSport.
"Gor are a very good team. They have proven that they are the best in
the league over a number of years and they will be hard to beat.
"However, we are confident we will give them a hard time. I think
that it is very important that we are still in the game in the second
half and when we get our chances, we take them."
He added: "They are unbeaten but this is football and anything can happen. Do not be surprised if Chemelil end up winners."
