Nairobi - Kenyan international Noah Wafula has returned to his club
AFC Leopards, two weeks after quitting the club.
The forward was unhappy at the struggling KPL outfit, which
forced Ingwe head coach Pieter de Jongh to sideline him as he was unsettling
The club's organising secretary Timothy Lilumbi has since
confirmed that the player has reported back for training on Monday.
"Every family has its own challenges which must be
solved. It has been the case with Wafula that has since been solved and the
player resumed training," Lilumbi explained to Futaa.
"Every contract has an exit clause and we cannot stand
in a player's way should he suggest to leave if he cites frustration as a
reason," he added.
Wafula last featured for Leopards in a league match against
Ulinzi Stars at the beginning of the month, but was not in the squad against
Bandari and Mathare United, which forced fans to raise concerns.
