Ushuru make double swoop

06 January 2015, 18:55

Nairobi - Ushuru FC head coach Ken Kenyatta has confirmed the signings of Paul Odhiambo and David Mwangi ahead of the 2015 Kenyan Premier League campaign.

Odhiambo, who was released by Western Stima at the end of last season, and former Mathare United left-back Mwangi, have both put pen to two-year deals with the Nairobi outfit.

Speaking of the pair's capture, Kenyatta told The Star: "We have signed Odhiambo, a striker from Western Stima and Mwangi, a left back from Mathare United, and both have been handed two-year contract because we feel that is enough time for them to blend into the team.

"I have observed them for some time and I believe they are good players."

Ushuru have already begun pre-season training ahead of the upcoming KPL campaign, where they will be looking to improve on their 12th-placed finish.
