Ulinzi want top three finish

30 September 2014, 12:34

Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars assistant coach Benjamin Nyangweso has set his sights on finishing in the top three at the end of the current campaign.

The Nakuru- based club is currently fifth in the KPL standings, with 38 points registered with five matches left to play this season.

They face fourth-placed Chemelil Sugar on Friday and Nyangweso believes his side has the edge following their 2-1 victory over title-chasers Tusker FC.

"It was a tough match against Tusker and a decent win that really lifted our morale," the Kenya Army coach told the club's official website.

"Now we need to build up on that in the last five games. We believe that we can make it into the top three.

"We need to keep the fight consistent and ensure we win our games," added the man who led the military outfit to the 2010 KPL title.
