Ulinzi to camp in Nanyuki

14 May 2013, 12:45

Nairobi - Military side Ulinzi Stars will travel to Nanyuki at the end of the first leg of the premier league season for a three-week camp ahead of their participation in the World Military Games, set to be played in Azerbaijan, Supersport.com reports.

According to the club’s Chairman Lt. Col. Juma Shee Mwinyikai, the Nanyuki camp will help the team acclimatize to the cold climatic conditions expected in Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijan is a relatively cold place and we will have to camp in Nanyuki to acclimatize,” said Mwinyikai. We will be there just after we play our last game of the first leg and we will not break camp until we travel. We will travel between the 27th and 28th of June.”
