Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars head coach Ali Salim was impressed with his team’s 1-0 win over hosts Nairobi City Stars in Saturday’s Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match, at Hope Centre.
The lone goal of the exciting fixture was scored late in the second half, after a quickly taken corner-kick by Kevin Amwayi and Mulinge Ndetto that saw the former unleash a surprise shot into the top corner of the net past helpless keeper Ronnie Kagunzi.
This was the second win for the Soldiers in a row after they gunned down Chemelil Sugar by the same margin last Wednesday. Speaking after the encounter, the former Sofapaka trainer hailed his boys for the victory but said they could have won by a bigger margin.
