Ulinzi coach explains poor form

05 November 2013, 15:28

Nakuru - Ulinzi Stars head coach Salim Ali has pointed to the unavailability of key players as the main reason for the poor results that have courted the team in the recent times in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).

Ulinzi managed their first win in over two months in their 3-0 victory over Thika United on Sunday and noting that he was happy to lead the team back to winning ways, the coach thanked his available players for giving him the response he wanted after a demoralizing 0-3 loss to Sofapaka a few days earlier.

“As an overall view I think we played well; the opponents too did well and the game was fine,” said the coach.
