Ulinzi, Tusker win in KPL action

Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars and Tusker FC both opened their Kenyan Premier League second leg campaigns with important wins.
Ulinzi saw off Mathare United 2-1 while Tusker thrashed bottom placed Nakuru AllStars 3-0 both played at the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani Friday night.
Eric Johana opened the scoring for Mathare but Kevin Serenge replied for Ulinzi with a thunderbolt and then John Nairuka scored the winner in the second half for Ulinzi.
In the other match, Jockins Atudo and a Jesse Were brace sent Tusker home and dry.
Ulinzi are placed second on the log after the win, 9 points behind leaders Gor Mahia who have a game in hand, while Tusker are a further 5 points adrift but in fifth place.
