Ulinzi Stars braced for Bandari

31 October 2014, 09:24

Nairobi - Stars, who have already gathered significant momentum this season, have now recorded six consecutive wins in the league and there are strong indications that they will continue the thrive as the season draws closer to its conclusion.

The news this week is that captain Stephen Ochollah will be back in the fray, after being sidelined by a rib injury for the greater part of the past two weeks. In addition, Brian Birgen is expected to be back in contention, while there has also been positive news about Stephen Waruru, who will be back from his one-match suspension this week.

At this juncture, it would appear that the only casualty in the Ulinzi Stars team is that of Sylus Shitote. Team doctor John Imboiywa confirmed that a virtually full strength squad would be available for the crucial Bandari battle.

"Everyone (except Sylus Shitote) is available for this weekend's game. Birgen is now fully physically fit and Ochollah is back to training looking good to go," Imboiywa told the club's website this week.

Once the Bandari assignment has been completed, Ulinzi Stars will have to negotiate an equally tough fixture against a somewhat resurgent Sony Sugar.
