Nairobi - The Kenyan Premier League (KPL) clash between Naivasha based Karuturi Sports and Ulinzi Stars, that was scheduled to be played on Wednesday in Naivasha has been postponed.
The match was supposed to be a catch up game for both sides, who have a game in hand due to Ulinzi Stars’ participation in the recently concluded World Military Games, and as confirmed by KPL officer in charge of Operations and Logistics Frank Okoth, the postponement was made to give Ulinzi Stars some rest.
Ulinzi has already played two matches since returning from the military games in Azerbaijan and Okoth said a third game in a span of seven days would have contravened the rules. He also pointed out that the postponement gives the team time to prepare well for the East Africa Military Games.
