Two year deal delights Kiongera at Simba

13 August 2014, 12:25

Nairobi - Paul Mungai Kiongera has signed a two year deal at Tanzanian giants Simba SC, he has confirmed.

The former Gor Mahia forward was rumoured not to have left his KPL club KCB after he appeared for them in the Kenyan Premier League in the midst of negotiations with Simba.

His move though has gone through and he has expressed his delight at moving to the club.

" It is a huge club that any player would want to join and I am happy to be here and hope to make an impression, he said.

" I thank KCB for the help they afforded me in moving and I hope that I can repay the faith Simba have had in me, he added.

Kiongera took part in Simba's friendly loss to Zesco United last weekend, where he put in a strong display and it is hoped that he will inspire Simba to honours in the coming season.
