Tusker win Jamhuri Day Cup

Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker trounced Rangers 3-1 to lift the Jamhuri Cup at the Nyayo National Stadium on Monday.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Chairman Sam Nyamweya presented the glittering trophy to Tusker captain Joseph Shikokoti and a cash token of Shs.100,000 from Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Tusker led 2-0 before the breather with goals from Dennis Mukaisi and Joseph Emeka before Paul Were put the outcome of the match beyond doubt with the third goal in the 86th minute past Rangers custodian Lawrence Webo.
