Nairobi - Tusker FC surrendered the Kenyan Premier League initiative to Gor Mahia after the goalless draw with AFC Leopards.
The draw at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani means that the brewers are just two points ahead of Gor having played three games more.
They now know that it is up to Gor to decide their fate, a disappointed head coach Francis Kimanzi admitted.
" We have let them have a good advantage, which is a pity, he said.
" We have played well in the last couple of games but also, we have faced some really good teams and that has been an issue for us.
" Leopards played well and limited our opportunities. They did not deserve to lose.
" Now we have to wait for the others to play and see where we lie. We will approach the remaining games with a winning mentality and then see how the rest go, he said.
Tusker know that they will need help to win the title.
" If Gor win their remaining matches they will be champions, so we have to hope others do us a favour and that we also beat them when we meet, he added.
